The Age of Superhumans – Gene Editing Through CRISPR & AI

Superhumans are coming! Various technological advances in the field of medicine through AI and CRISPR are going to radically alter our understanding of what it means to be human. AI and Crispr technology have been making revolutionary changes to the field of medicine. Artificial intelligence is being applied in identification of harmful genes and treatment of disease. Multiple new gene editing technologies in addition to artificial intelligence will cause major changes in healthcare. The gene-editing tool CRISPR, short for clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats, could help us to reprogram life. It gives scientists more power and precision than they have ever had to alter human DNA. Could it be conceivable that at one point in the future we could increase the average IQ of the population? Romance and Luxury in a Tropical Setting

The magnificent islands of Antigua and Barbuda lie between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Blessed with a wonderful climate, the islands usually play the part of a romantic getaway for newlywed couples eager to avoid the fuss on some of the more popular Caribbean destinations. Luckily for the lovebirds, the islands of Antigua and Barbuda are named “The Land of 365 Beaches”, and this title suits them perfectly, since most of the shores of the archipelago are covered with beautiful sandy beaches. Besides the two nominal islands, there is a large number of smaller islets in the country, including seven prominent ones. They are called Great Bird, Green, Guiana, Long, Maiden, York Islands, and the island of Redonda on the mere South. St. John’s, the state capital and the largest economic center, is located on Antigua island. The country is considered a member of the Commonwealth, an intergovernmental

The Multiverse Hypothesis Explained by Neil deGrasse Tyson

The multiverse hypothesis or theory holds that a group of multiple universes (possibly infinite universes) comprise everything that exists: The entirety of space, time, matter, energy, information, and the physical laws and constants that describe them. The renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson explains in detail the multiverse hypothesis. However, prominent physicists are divided about whether any other universes exist outside of our own. Some even go as far as to say that the multiverse is not a legitimate topic of scientific inquiry. Because it can not be empirically falsified. But Neil deGrasse Tyson among other prominent cosmologists, thinks that given our understanding of quantum mechanics and the thoery of General relativity, the possibility of the existence of the multiverse is a legitimate scientific hypothesis. Steven Weinberg said that if the multiverse existed, the hope of finding a rational explanation for the precise values of quark masses and other constants of

Over US$ 2 billion raised to support equitable access to COVID vaccines with additional US$ 5 billion needed in 2021

Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance welcomes latest pledges in support of the Gavi COVAX AMC, a financing mechanism that will support 92 low- and middle-income economies’ access to safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines. The approximately US$360 million in commitments include US$350m announced at the Paris Peace Forum by the European Commission, France, Spain and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, as well as an earlier pledge of US$10 million made by the Republic of Korea. This means that over US$ 2 billion has been raised for the Gavi COVAX AMC so far, thanks to contributions from other sovereign donors, the private sector, and philanthropic sources. This funding will allow COVAX AMC to reserve and access 1 billion doses for AMC-eligible economies, with at least US$ 5 billion needed in 2021 to procure doses as they come through the portfolio. The announcements come as 94 higher-income economies have officially joined the COVAX Facility, a
